I Take It Black

Figured I’d stop neglecting my bloggity and update about my life in the moment.  Hmmmm…where to start? where to start?

Well my birthday was last Thursday.  I spent it with mia madre and my baby sister.  We danced our way to stardom once again, this time performing a dance from Alex and Twitch from So You Think You Can Dance.  Of course, we lost for our first time in forever to Lady Gaga.  How lame is that?

Friday, I spent the day doing homework and getting ready for an awesome night with everyone I love, and who loves me.  Sarah, Meri, Nessa, Gabe and company, Momo and Boyfriend, and of course Kole all came to show some love.  We were all later joined by Lilli and Elliot which was awesome.  I felt blessed for the night.  I had a blast.

Saturday, Kole came to pick me up and he took me to Marietta Square.  I hadn’t been there since I was a child.  I think I was wearing a FUBU coat the last time I went, and now that I’m older I got to appreciate the beauty of a nice small town area.  I absolutely fell in love with this antique store.  I was fortunate enough to find two beautiful books, and there are many more to purchase; however, both of these books were at least 75 years old.  They smelled lovely.  One of them was even a First Edition, which means that it is most likely 1/200-300.  Those odds made me happy.  Kole and I walking hand in hand down the street, stopping at all those weird little boutiques.  I adored it.  After this we unfortunately went to see The Mechanic, which has to be the worst action movie I’ve seen in a while.  Not going to lie. 

Anyway, I am just all around a happy girl.  For now. 

My monday is typically spent doing homework, sleeping in a bit, doing my laundry, and waiting for emails.  Specifically the ones from the man…I love our daily routines…

This monday is different though because it’s my bday week, therefore; I am at my laziest.  Still wearing my pjs, although i DID do some laundry it is technically still in the dryer, and I haven’t actually moved from the couch since 10 am.   I need to do something but now I’m old and shouldn’t have to.

But it appears that my reading a lot has only intensified my love for this man…

Reading of the great tragedies and the beautiful love stories.  Damn you Great Gatsby and everything by Jane Austin….you both are evil…

I was never the woman to get attached like that, never the one that falls head over heels.  I always tried to leave that up to him, but he’s got me falling.  The best part is that he’s falling too…

Love, even when unrequited like poor Gatsby’s is beautiful.  It is one of those things that noone can take away from you, or make it anything less than.  No matter what we’ll always love eachother.  It’s all about you and I. 

I cannot sleep for fear of dreams that will further intensify these feelings, and truthfully I might overload.  So now to stay up and read a book about something awful (ClockWork Orange most likely) so that I will get my mind off of things.
